Cliezi Privacy Policy
Cliezi is built around trust. This policy explains what we collect, what we do not collect, how we use data, and how users can control their information.
Effective date: July 6, 2026
1. What Cliezi is
Cliezi is an AI shopping intelligence platform that helps users search products, compare prices, save products, create price alerts, review trust signals, and make calmer buying decisions. Cliezi may include website features, browser-extension concepts, MarketLens reports, user accounts, shopping history, wishlists, comparisons, notifications, and contact forms.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use Cliezi, we may collect the following categories of information:
- Account information: email address, display name, account ID, account creation date, profile preferences, and authentication status.
- Shopping workspace data: search queries, saved products, compare products, price alerts, product titles, retailers, prices, product URLs, images, source labels, timestamps, and saved decision data.
- Preference data: Calm Mode, ranking preferences, notification settings, language, time zone, font size, high-contrast mode, and other customization choices.
- Security and activity data: login/activity records, device/browser labels, account-action requests, and security-related events where supported.
- Contact data: name, email, and message content submitted through the contact form.
- Technical data: browser type, device type, page interactions, local storage/session state, error information, and non-sensitive diagnostic data needed to keep the site working.
- MarketLens data: only product-level facts from visible listings that the user chooses to scan, such as listing title, asking price, general location, listing URL, optional thumbnail, platform name, search query, and date seen.
3. Information Cliezi does not collect for MarketLens
For Marketplace-style features, Cliezi should not collect Facebook passwords, login cookies, private messages, seller profiles, seller photos, social identity, saved listings, personal account data, or hidden content. MarketLens is intended to analyze only visible product listing cards that the user manually loaded and chose to scan.
4. How we use information
- To create and manage user accounts.
- To save search history, wishlists, compare products, price alerts, and settings.
- To show dashboard counts, notifications, saved activity, and product decision pages.
- To improve search quality, scoring transparency, and trust explanations.
- To provide support, respond to contact messages, and fix bugs.
- To detect abuse, protect accounts, apply rate limits, and keep Cliezi secure.
- To build privacy-first shopping intelligence and avoid showing misleading or risky results.
5. AI, scores, and trust signals
Cliezi may use algorithms or AI-assisted logic to generate preliminary scores, verdicts, risk labels, confidence labels, suggested offers, and explanations. These tools are designed to reduce confusion, not to pressure users into buying. Scores may be incomplete, preliminary, or based on limited available data.
6. Cookies and local storage
Cliezi may use browser local storage, session storage, and authentication storage to keep users signed in, remember preferences, improve navigation, and make the interface feel faster. On a static Supabase-based site, login sessions may rely more on local storage than traditional cookies.
7. Supabase, Cloudflare, and third-party services
Cliezi may use Supabase for authentication and database storage, Cloudflare Pages and Workers for hosting/API routing, and third-party product data providers or shopping sources. These services may process data as needed to deliver Cliezi features. Cliezi should never place Supabase service-role keys or secret keys in frontend files.
8. Product links and affiliate links
Cliezi may link users to retailers, marketplaces, or affiliate partners. When users leave Cliezi, the destination website’s privacy practices apply. Sponsored or affiliate relationships should be clearly labeled and should not secretly override Cliezi’s user-first recommendations.
9. Data sharing
Cliezi does not sell personal conversations or private account data to advertisers. Data may be shared only with service providers needed to operate the platform, to comply with law, to prevent fraud or abuse, to protect rights and safety, or with the user’s direction.
10. Data security
Cliezi uses security practices such as encrypted connections, Supabase row-level security, safe frontend configuration, protected account flows, security headers, and limited data collection. No internet service can guarantee perfect security, so users should use strong passwords and protect their devices.
11. Data retention
Cliezi keeps account and shopping workspace data for as long as needed to provide features or until the user deletes it, requests deletion, or the data is no longer needed. Some records may be retained for security, legal, backup, or fraud-prevention purposes.
12. User controls
- Update display name and preferences in Settings.
- Remove saved products and compare items where supported.
- Delete or deactivate alerts where supported.
- Request account deactivation or deletion.
- Contact Cliezi about privacy, deletion, access, or correction requests.
13. Children and minors
Cliezi is not intended for children under 13. Users who are under the age required by local law should use Cliezi only with appropriate parent or guardian permission.
14. Changes to this policy
Cliezi may update this Privacy Policy as the product grows. Material changes should be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
15. Contact
Questions about privacy can be sent through the Contact page or by using the contact email shown on Cliezi’s official site.
